THE HOLLOW HIVE

The Hollow Hive – Student Insect Research Society

Hollow Grove Academy | Supervised by Dr. Eleanor Graves

Hi! Welcome to The Hollow Hive!

This is a student science club where we learn about insects and how they live in the world around us.
I made this site so we can share what we find and keep track of all the different species we see.

We do observations, simple field studies, and sometimes go outside to look at bugs in their habitats (with permission from teachers of course).

I really hope other students will join and think insects are as interesting as I do. They’re actually a lot more important than people think.

Did anyone see that hive near the grove today?

Yes, I saw it, it was huge! I wonder if it's safe.

We should do a project on pollinators. The bees are fascinating.
